  1. Does the policy cover me for HIV/Aids?
    Once the waiting periods have passed, then death resulting from any condition will be covered.
  2. What are the waiting periods on my policy?
    Please refer to your policy document as the waiting periods differ per product or contact our call centre and we will gladly provide you with the information applicable to your policy.
  3. Can I include extended family members on my policy?
    Yes, up to four extended family members who are financially dependent on you and under the age of 74, can be added to your policy for an additional premium. Contact our call centre on 0860-00-2156 and we will gladly assist you to include your extended family members.
  4. Who is covered on my policy?
    Your nominated spouse and biological or legally adopted children, who are under the age of 21 or 24 if they are full time students at a recognised institution, are covered under your policy.

Funeral Support - this includes transport of the deceased from anywhere in South Africa or neighbouring countries to a funeral home in South Africa; assistance and advice on claims procedures, autopsies, undertakers, tombstone providers and more.

Legal Support – if you have any legal issues take advantage of our telephonic assistance or a 30 minute face-to-face consultation.  Advice is also given on wills, estate planning, labour law, industrial relations and tax.

Trauma, Assault and HIV Treatment – for survivors of traumatic experiences trauma counselling, anti-retroviral 30-day starter pack and HIV counselling is provided.
