Corporate Social Investment at MS Life
MS Life takes pride in giving back to the community and we believe that Corporate Social Investment is an important pillar on our BBBEE scorecard.
In 2010, MS Life participated in two very worthy Corporate Social Investment initiatives.
- Community house building in Orange Farm
Together with our Holding company, Old Mutual South Africa, MS Life took part in the building of 5 houses for under privileged families in Orange Farm, Gauteng. This initiative saw these 5 houses being built over a 5 day period from 31 May 2010 to 4 June 2010.
- Painting at Dorah’s Ark for orphaned/abandoned children
In November 2010, the staff at MS Life traded a day in the office for a day painting at Dorah’s Ark for orphaned and abandoned children. This home houses about 40 children and they are totally reliant on donations for food and clothing. The staff at MS Life were so touched by these amazing children that each member voluntarily purchased gifts for these children to make their Christmas a little brighter.
